W. Donald Bolton, Jr.

 

W. Donald Bolton, Jr., has been practicing law in Alabama since 1978.  Mr. Bolton has years of experience as a trial lawyer in the areas of criminal law, family law, civil litigation, and personal injury.   He is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Southern and Middle Districts of Alabama, the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court. 

 

Mr. Bolton is a member of the Baldwin County Bar Association (President, 1993-1994), the American Bar Association (Member, Criminal Justice Section), the Alabama State Bar, the Alabama Criminal Defense Lawyers Association (Regional Vice-President, 1981-1983), the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and the Baldwin County Criminal Defense Lawyers Association (Founding Member).  He has been awarded an AV Preeminent rating by Martindale-Hubbell and has been included in the Alabama Super Lawyers magazine in the area of criminal defense since 2008.

 

Mr. Bolton is a graduate of the University of Alabama (B.A., 1971; B.S.E., 1973) and Birmingham School of Law (J.D., 1978).
